On April 12, 2025, at approximately 0840 hours local time in Cleves, Ohio, authorities investigated an explosion that occurred. Deputies and the FBI are involved after an IED was found and detonated in a wooded area. Emergency responders arrived following reports of a loud blast and smoke. No injuries were reported.
On April 14, 2025, in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, multiple officers from the Summit Township Police Department and Somerset County Probation office executed a search warrant on Petenbrink Road and arrested a suspect who was hiding in the basement of the residence. During the search, officers discovered numerous drugs, a firearm, and homemade explosives. Charges are pending against the suspect and other occupants of the house.
